PREPPING FOR YOUR CHI MACHINE EXPERIENCE...

Be sure to come to your chi session well hydrated. Water will be provided at the spa however, you will want to be hydrated throughout the day prior to your session and then again after.

RECOMMENDED USE...

Starting point: 4-6 minutes 1-2 times per day
Continuation: Gradually increase minutes for a maximum of up to 15-20 minutes per session

To achieve the most benefit, use the chi machine first thing in the morning to give your lymphatic system a jump-start. Another great time to benefit from the chi machine is after dinner to relax and reduce stress from the day. That said, the machine will benefit the lymphatic system and the rest of the body no matter when you use it.

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING A CHI MACHINE SESSION...

Renowned Japanese scientist Dr. Shizou Inoue was the inventor of the chi machine, and with more than 35 years of medical and scientific research perfected this machine. Be sure to come to your sauna session well hydrated. Water will be provided at the spa before and after your session however, you will want to be hydrated throughout the day. You will also receive a multi-mineral after the session to replenish any essential minerals lost during your sweat.
Come with very little in your stomach so your body can focus on detoxing and healing rather than digesting. Avoid high-sodium meals the day prior and the day of so your body doesn’t work to retain water, contradicting the sweating process. Prior to your session, exercise and massage are great ways to prepare yourself for the sauna as it jump starts the elimination process.

WHY FAR INFRARED SAUNA...

Far infrared heat waves are gentle and comfortable using temperatures of only 110-140 degrees fahrenheit. The waves are absorbed through your skin and penetrate as deep as 2 inches into your body to warm you directly and quickly versus a traditional sauna only penetrating up to 1/2 inch deep. Because of this, it is more effective at reaching the majority of muscles and connective tissues (as well as some organs) and at breaking up clusters of water molecules that may be preventing the release of toxins. Because it heats you and not the air, the heat in the sauna is not harsh on your lungs or skin like traditional steam and rock saunas. You sweat much more heavily and at a lower temperature in a far infrared sauna versus a traditional sauna. Essentially you are giving yourself a fever. You will also receive a mineral replacement after the session to replenish any essential minerals lost during your detox.

RECOMMENDED USE...

Initially, 5-7 treatments @ 1-2 times per week (no more than 2 times/week).
Maintenance, 1 per month.
For those suffering from any kind of illness, the treatments should be less frequent because they may experience being tired or lethargic due to the body going into healing mode.
Proceeding treatments should not be given until the individual feels fully recovered.

Adults: 30 minutes (it takes 20 minutes for blood to make one complete cycle)

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING A FOOT BATH...

During a session, the client submerges their feet in a bath of salt water. In the water is also a metal coil attached to a machine that emits electricity. A conductive strap is also attached to the client’s wrist so the same electric current can be pulsed through the body during the session. This is not a painful process as the electricity is very weak. The water, salt and electric coil together produce a frequency of positive and negative ions which move through the body to stimulate cells and rebalance the body. This process also promotes toxin secretion via the feet. The water will turn different colors depending on where the toxins are coming from in your body.
